Flowery Branch, GA Flowery Branch, GA Full-time Full-time $75,000 - $85,000 a year $75,000 - $85,000 a year Job Responsibilities Spare Parts Sales Manager is primarily responsible to re-establish, qualify and maintain contact with customers to increase sales of carbide teeth and spare parts for mulching and construction attachments.
Pursue new business and develop key existing accounts in the USA territory.
Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships via cold calls, presentations, direct mail, promotional campaigns, and following up on leads for new business.
Customers/Dealers that are in the mulching and construction business Manages 2 Parts Sales Representative within the department to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Establishes departmental and individual goals and objectives and holds employees accountable for performance.
Ensures that all department employees are team players and are providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
Manage an account base of 400 accounts, develop sales strategies, proposals and forecasts.
Develop and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations Prepare quotations, cost reports, performance reports and customer correspondence.
Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers in order to seek new business and enhance customer retention by monitoring customer satisfaction with service and parts support and by responding to customer concerns or requests Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information.
Discuss sales activities with management Considering the diversification of the customer base and that some customers may require contact on either a weekly, monthly, quarterly or semi-annual basis Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by the CEO and may be expected to represent the company at meetings, open houses, tradeshows, demo site day, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements Minimum 3 years of parts sales experience for heavy equipment industry (skid steer, bulldozer, excavators, tractors, attachments, etc.
) and customer service-related experience required as a technical parts representative or field service technician Four year undergraduate degree from an accredited college preferred or 1 - 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have sufficient mechanic knowledge to understand customer heavy equipment Strong customer service skills Strong computer skills including, but not limited to:
excel, word, and CRM software.
Excellent time management skills Strong phone skills Must have sales skills to help the customer and to overcome objections and close the sale.
Must be a motivated self-starter.
Must have interpersonal skills to assist customers and employees in a professional manor.
