We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our animal patients and supporting our veterinary staff.

Duties:
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with examinations, treatments, and surgeries - Handle and restrain animals during procedures - Prepare examination rooms and surgical suites for procedures - Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments - Administer medications as directed by veterinarians - Monitor animals before, during, and after procedures - Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery progress - Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis - Maintain accurate records of patient care, treatments, and medications - Assist with client communication, including answering phone calls and scheduling appointments -Walking and feeding animals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred - Knowledge of veterinary terminology and medical procedures - Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Proficiency in handling animals of various sizes and temperaments - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure - Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Skills:
- Veterinary terminology - Kennel operations - Pet sitting experience - Dog training knowledge - Animal care practices - Veterinary procedures and protocols - Dog handling skills We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
