THE POSITION
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing maintenance personnel and coordinating maintenance activities for the building and equipment in support of production, sanitation, distribution and safety goals consistent with the King's Hawaiian vision and values. This position will work closely with the Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager and other operations, maintenance and engineering colleagues in order to ensure success.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
o Responsible for keeping all the process and building equipment in operating condition to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production.
o Supervises shift maintenance employees.
o Collaborates with Operations personnel to ensure efficient production and minimize downtime. Helps in developing and improving preventive maintenance programs.
o Manages spare parts inventory within budget and operational guidelines.
o Ensures that maintenance work is properly planned and scheduled.
o Evaluates the Preventive Maintenance effectiveness by analyzing maintenance costs and equipment downtime.
o Develops and executes plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
o Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
o Confers with outside contractors to obtain service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
o Audits the chemical storage policy and procedures to ensure proper labeling and storage.
o Performs maintenance and repairs as needed.
o Enforces Federal, State, City and A.I.B. Health and Safety Standards, including OSHA (State and/or Federal) and Hazardous Material regulation, in keeping with the work process and chemical inventory by location.
o Promotes safety in the work area by understanding and complying with safety procedures and reporting all accidents in a timely manner. Ensures that maintenance personnel comply with all company policies, and enforces the safety program.

o Assists direct reports and others, hands-on, as needed
o Responsible for Quality and Food Safety functions as assigned and outlined in Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program.
o Responsible for reporting all quality and food safety concerns/issues to QA.
QUALIFICATIONS
o Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, production operations management or equivalent field of study is preferred but not required
o 5 years
Supervisory and maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Food industry / baking industry preferred.
o Strong understanding of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
o Working knowledge of automation / PLC applications
o Basic mathematical and statistical skills.
o Basic financial skills and understanding.
o Key Leadership Competencies in addition to Ethics / Values and Integrity / Trust, (Action Oriented, Directing Others, Priority Setting, Decision Quality, Organizing, Process Management)
o Valid driver's license is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
