Supervisor Quality,

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the work of a small team of individuals often in a single site or geography
  • Selects, trains, coaches and manages the performance and development of the team
  • Develops, implements and maintains technical quality assurance and control systems and activities.
  • Evaluates customer compliants and collaborate with appropriate functions to provide corrective actions and response
  • Works with Suppliers on material compliances issues and concerns
  • Defines andspecifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of products.
  • Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations.
  • Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data
  • Establish, maintain and distribute quality metrics
  • Provide leadership for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Qualifications

  • Preferred Education:
    • Associate s degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience in a related industry
  • Preferred Work Experience (years):
    • 6-9 years experience including minimum 1 year as team lead / supervisor
  • Key Skills and Competencies:
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Must possess strong problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills
    • Intermediate level skills in MS Office and ERP systems
    • Working knowledge of ISO standards and guidelines
    • Knowledge of quality and statistical analysis tools and methodologies
  • Must be able to work off shifts and weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and being on your feet for up to eight hours

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
